  Truth is, PromoEQP wasn’t built to be a “tabletop show” company any more than it was designed to cater to some elite style EME resort invitational. Candidly, it is my opinion that each of those types of events are divisive to a program. In their own way they seek to divide and define a distributor’s value to the exclusive benefit of a supplier — and dividing distributors is NOT what PromoEQP does.

PromoEQP Monthly Code As a best practice, PromoEQP encourages distributors to place the Monthly Discount Code within the NOTES section of purchase orders being sent to participating suppliers. Pacesetter ImprintPlus Q2 for PromoEQP First Quarter of 2024 was all about setting the table for what PromoEQP must be doing to better meet the needs of the distributors we serve. This meant being willing to acknowledge our shortcomings, see our weaknesses, and choose to address it all with appropriate actions. Thus far, while the steps have been incremental, they have non-the-less been impactful.

SAGE Platform Changes

There are some noticeable changes happening within SAGE.
If you have been using the SAGEWeb resource, you will now see that the formatting of Supplier Pricing Policies are now equal to the formatting in SAGEOnline. The benefit of having the information formatted appropriately is that we are now able to actively engage in ensuring that policies are fully updated with not only Pricing Policies, but also any additional benefits offered by the Suppliers.

PromoEQP Update PromoEQP's EXPO Recap The introduction of the DAC (Distributor Advisory Council) was the initiative for PromoEQP this year. Given that a distributor driven program often doesn’t exist within other entities in the industry, it was always known to be a work-in-progress. The time in Las Vegas confirmed both the need to continue developing the DAC itself – and the value of having the DAC as a program resource.
